GSF BC employs more than 180 people at various locations including our Campbell River office, Gold River hatchery and farms on the east and west coasts of Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast area.
Career opportunities
Working in aquaculture is a rewarding career. It takes a wide range of people and positions to keep Grieg going, from farmers to finance and everything in between. Employees at Grieg generally fall under three categories: Farming, Research & Development, and Administration.
Farming
From freshwater hatcheries to remote sea sites, farming at Grieg spans across many positions and locations. Some include hatchery technicians, aquaculture technicians, operations workers, production planning, regulatory and veterinary roles.
Research & Development
Our R&D team supports the success and advancement of our farming operations. Roles can vary within departments that focus on fish health, farm technology, quality control, environmental monitoring and sustainability.
Administration
Behind every salmon farming company is a busy office. From HR, to finance, IT, health and safety, communications, Indigenous and community relations, these support roles help keep Grieg going while also helping our communities.
