Caring for and nurturing our fish is what we do - whether it is sunny, stormy or freezing cold. There is still much to learn about the salmon and the sea. And there are still many areas where we need to improve. We’ll get there. One step at a time.
Meet our people
We look for people with different expertise, experiences, backgrounds, genders and ages. Our talented employees span from teenage apprentices to people who will soon retire. We have people with a university degree and people who became salmon farming experts through experience.
Our millenials
The wind blows and waves crash on the pens at Teistholmen farm in Rogaland. “You must enjoy working outside,” says apprentice Kristian Spissøy Kloster (19), who is out on his daily inspection round looking after the fish.
The digital farmer
Today, seven million fish living on 12 farms are remotely fed from one land-based operational center in Rogaland. This is only the beginning of how digitalization, machine learning and AI may transform salmon farming.
