(Grieg) would like to congratulate the Honourable Joyce Murray on her appointment as the new Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard (DFO). In the coming years, this portfolio will have a pivotal role in supporting the development of a thriving Blue Economy which will allow Canada to not only reach its economic goals, but will support Canada’s efforts to meet its carbon reduction targets, food security and support the recovery of wild fish populations.
