The Crew Van Operator is responsible for operating the crew van and making small deliveries to the farms and for communicating mechanical and scheduling issues updates to the supervisor, as per the agreed schedule. This position is hourly permanent approx. 30-40 hours per week and it reports to the Health and Safety Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

• Operate the crew van safely as per agreed schedule;
• Complete monthly vehicles inspections for all shared Grieg’s vehicles;
• Schedule routine maintenance of all company shared vehicles;
• Coordinate delivery of goods to farm sites and hatchery;
• Email weekly updates to Health and Safety Manager as per agreed schedule;
• Maintain positive ongoing relationships with all employees and contractors;
• Ensure Occupational Health and Safety procedures and protocols are adhered to at all times;
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Favorable Class 4 driver's license and a minimum of 5 years general driving experience are mandatory;
• Well-developed interpersonal skills;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to problem solve;•Additional tickets (SVOP, MEDA3, ROCM, etc.) are considered an asset.
