Update on construction of post-smolt facility
Information regarding the post-smolt building in Marystown Industrial Park
Grieg Seafood envisages to move forward with the construction of the post-smolt facility in Marystown. Grieg Seafood has reached a material agreement with its main suppliers for the remaining construction and is working on getting the last details in place.
The building is located in the Marystown Industrial Park, next to Grieg Seafood Newfoundland’s First Feed Building and Smolt Building. The first phase of the project, which included the construction of the foundation and ground work, was completed in April 2024.
The remaining phases are expected to cost approximately CAD 115 million altogether.
